The Institute of Commerce is one of the world’s oldest and most respected management organisations.
Established in 1906 and incorporated in 1908, the Institute has been at the forefront of management education for over one hundred years.
The IoC is open to individuals and organisations that facilitate commercial activity locally, nationally or internationally. You may be involved in activities that increase the turnover of the business you work for, or your organisation may support the commercial activities of other organisations. If you or your organisation is involved in creating an environment in which business can be conducted then the Institute of Commerce is for you.
Commerce has always been at the very heart of the world economy; from the early days when the silk and spice traders set out to discover new markets, to today’s international platform, where improved transport links and instant global communication have removed barriers and made new products and new markets accessible to every business.
The Institute is predicated upon the desire to educate and inform our members and to establish and foster global business connections. Membership of the Institute of Commerce is not open to all. There are stringent membership requirements and therefore becoming a member is recognition that you and your organisation are an important part of the global business environment.
